Congratulations on your wedding plans! My name is Dan and I am the only photographer who will photograph your wedding. I have photographed about 500 weddings spanning almost ten years and have an A+ accredited membership with the Better Business Bureau. All photographs on this website, my blog and my facebook page were taken by me. The Photography Portfolio contains hundreds of photographs and is the heart of this website. Highlighted weddings from within my Photography Portfolio and Featured Weddings are intended to show a subset of photographs from individual weddings; I plan on doing several Highlighted Weddings per year. Price verses Portfolio:

Carefully consider my portfolio and the price I am offering. You don't have to spend over two thousand dollars and beyond for superior photographs and professional Photojournalistic coverage. Many others have agreed and you may too that PhotoEmphasis is the best value regardless of price.

What's Included:

All edited high resolution images with release for the bride and groom and their parents, online gallery for viewing and ordering, fine art prints, unlimited venues, ten hours of coverage with flexibility, non-committal album policy, free shipping on print orders for anyone purchasing from your online gallery, and low print prices from 4x6 to 16x20. You can view pricing here and when we meet I will provide a full price list. PhotoEmphasis does not limit the number of edited photos; all photos are fully edited and given to you on DVD, always. On average couples can expect around 1000 photographs. If you think you need two photographers, consider this.

Philosophy:

I am not there to change, alter or modify your wedding in any way; rather, my goal as your photographer is to capture precise moments as a Photojournalist and traditional photography people have come to expect. I define on-location photography as the time I spend with the bride and groom and their bridal party; this is another opportunity to capture the kinds of photographs you see throughout my portfolio. Your reception is a very special part of your day, from the time you're introduced until the time I leave we will have minimal interaction.

Engagement Sessions:

Trash the Dress Sessions:

Your dress doesn't get trashed. If done soon enough after your wedding the photographs will be included on your DVD. You can click and view a Trash the Dress session.

What Areas are Covered?

Based in Rochester NY, I photograph weddings in all of upstate NY. In addition to shooting weddings in Rochester, I also specifically cover Buffalo & Syracuse and points east such as Rome and Utica including the southern-tier. I routinely photograph weddings and engagement sessions around the Finger Lakes including venues such as Belhurst Castle located in Geneva. There is a nominal adder for travel for some locations, but the travel time is not subtracted from your wedding photography coverage. I have been photographing weddings in and around Rochester and Buffalo for almost ten years averaging between forty to fifty weddings per year and I look forward to talking to you.

If you're getting married in November, December, January, February, March or April make sure you contact me for details on "extras" customized around your needs. Off season specials are aggressive. In addition to weddings and engagement sessions, I offer other services which include family photo sessions, model portfolio sessions, pregnancy sessions, senior portrait sessions and boudoir (glamour, lingerie) sessions.
